0154 Master plan Rochendaal, Sint-Truiden, BE
In 2013 the team of Atelier Kempe Thill and Achtergael architecten / Ghent has won the two-stage competition for a new master plan on the former military site Rochendaal in Sint-Truiden. The design task is the implementation of a sustainable master plan for more than 350 houses, the refurbishment of an English landscape park including a little castle from the 19th century, the transformation of several historical barrack buildings and the development of a wetland park along the creek Cicindria.
