The Atriumhaus is a new social housing project in the city district of Tenever in Bremen, Germany. Apart from 28 apartments, the house contains a kindergarten for approximately 200 children and a little neighbourhood centre. All apartments are organised around a double-high central atrium space that functions as a collective entrance hall. The apartments vary in size, and each has a luxurious and secluded outdoor space. The kindergarten on the ground floor is placed around a central multipurpose space with a ceiling height of up to 12 metres. The project is built according to the German low-energy standard and will have NaWoh certification for sustainable housing.
